The 36 Tūrangi to Taupō route is part of the Connect2Taupō service. It travels between Tūrangi and Taupō on Monday and Thursday.

As well as fixed bus stops in Tūrangi and Taupō, this service operates as a hail and ride service. This means you can hail down the bus anywhere along the route, so long as it is safe for the bus to pull over and stop.
