Catch a FREE bus to 'Balloons Visit Waipa'. 

Free buses to Te Awamutu will run for the Balloons Visit Waipa event on Friday 21 March.

Event buses will run from Cambridge to Albert Park in Te Awamutu for the event. 

The buses will depart before the event as follows;

Cambridge Victoria Square (opp Town Hall) to Leamington Shakespeare St (Leamington Medical Centre) to Albert Park Te Awamutu.

  • Hamilton to Te Awamutu or Kihikihi to Te Awamutu

Passengers can board the 24. Te Awamutu service and tell the driver they are heading to the Balloons over Waipa event and they will get a FREE ride to and from the event. Nb: It’s a 550m walk from Gorst Street to Albert Park.
