Travel in comfort

Buses are fully air-conditioned, and have free WIFI and USB charging points. They also have CCTV.

Bike it, then bus it

Each bus has an exterior bike rack, with room for two bikes at a time. There's no charge for using the bike rack, but loading and unloading the bike is the responsibility of the passenger.

Uni and Wintec discount

All University of Waikato and Wintec students and staff receive a 30% discount on single adult BUSIT card fares. This concession is valid at all times to all locations on BUSIT services - not just to and from campus. Show the driver your University of Waikato or Wintec staff or student ID and the discount will be applied to your BUSIT card fare.

SuperGold fares

All travel between Morrinsville and Hamilton is FREE on weekends and public holidays for SuperGold users. Just show your SuperGold card to the driver.
