Wintec Concession
From 1 January 2019, all Wintec students and staff will receive a 30% discount on adult BUSIT card fares. This will make travel in Hamilton $1.70 - and is valid at all times to all locations on BUSIT services - not just to and from campus. Regional services - for example, from Huntly to Hamilton - will also have a 30% discount applied.
Get a BUSIT card and start travelling cheaper – from 1 January all you need to do is show the driver your Wintec student or staff ID and the discount will be applied to your BUSIT card single fare.
